New Egypt Group Takes Action: 580,000 EGP Donation Expedites Lab Upgrade at 57357 Children's Cancer Hospital

The board reviewed the proposal submitted by Medical Supermarket for the Laboratories furniture project at 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital. The project details and cost breakdown provided in the quotation dated January 23rd, 2024 were examined. The board discussed the need for updated laboratory facilities to support the important work of the hospital in treating children with cancer.

The board discussed fully funding the project costs of 580,000 EGP plus 14% VAT fees as outlined in the response letter to Medical Supermarket dated February 15 th, 2024. Any additional fees that may arise to expedite completion of the project were also approved.

The impact this donation could have in advancing the mission and work of 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital was praised. The board acknowledged New Egypt Group's commitment to corporate social responsibility and supporting healthcare initiatives in Egypt.

It was unanimously agreed to approve the proposal and provide the necessary funds to Medical Supermarket to commence work on the Laboratories furniture project immediately.
