In a significant act of philanthropy and healthcare support, New Egypt Group has committed a donation of EGP 580,000, plus applicable VAT, to fully fund a laboratory furniture upgrade project at the renowned 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital in Cairo.

The donation, based on a detailed proposal submitted by Medical Supermarket and reviewed in the board's recent meeting, aims to equip the hospital's laboratories with modern, functional furnishings necessary for critical cancer diagnostics and research.

🧪 Upgrading Critical Lab Infrastructure

The decision to fund the laboratories furniture project comes at a time when 57357 Hospital continues to expand its capacity and infrastructure to meet the growing demand for specialized pediatric cancer care.

The reviewed quotation dated January 23, 2024, outlined the scope and costs of the upgrade. In a response letter dated February 15, 2024, New Egypt Group confirmed its full financial support of the project, including an agreement to cover additional costs to ensure timely completion.

During the board meeting, members unanimously approved the project and expressed confidence in the hospital’s ability to maximize the impact of the contribution.
