In the Presence of Dr. Amal Shams El-Din, New Egypt Group Supports Saft Turab Health Unit with Advanced Medical Equipment

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the healthcare system and provide adequate medical services to the residents of Saft Turab village, and in the presence of Dr. Amal Shams El-Din, Director of the Health Administration, New Egypt Group has donated a number of essential medical devices to support the equipping and operation of clinics within the Saft Turab Health Unit.

The donation included an ultrasound machine, a cardiac defibrillator, blood pressure monitors, blood glucose testing devices, ambu bags for both children and adults, metal privacy screens, and stainless steel examination tables. These items were provided based on the actual needs of the health unit, contributing to improved medical services and enhanced operational efficiency.

This development represents an important step toward fully activating the health unit, paving the way for the next phase, which includes fulfilling Dr. Amal Shams El-Din’s commitment to operate the unit and provide physicians in several medical specialties required by the residents of Saft Turab. This will ensure the delivery of comprehensive healthcare services and reduce the burden on citizens who previously had to travel to other areas to receive treatment.

Attendees emphasized that this initiative reflects the importance of cooperation between civil society institutions and the healthcare sector, in support of citizens’ right to receive dignified and quality medical care befitting the people of Saft Turab.

It is worth noting that Dr. Mona Tantawy, President of the Egyptian International Women’s Club, conducted a field visit to Saft Turab village last month, during which the urgent need for this type of medical equipment was highlighted. The equipment delivered today comes in response to that assessment, contributing to improved healthcare services and reinforcing the villagers’ right to access distinguished medical care.
