NewEgypt International Launches a New Year of Hope with Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357

NewEgypt International Foundation has begun the new year with renewed hope and a strengthened humanitarian partnership with Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 in Egypt, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to supporting children battling cancer and their families.

A joint inspection and needs-assessment visit was conducted by representatives of NewEgypt from the United States and Egypt to evaluate the hospital’s current priorities and identify areas for sustainable support. The visit reflected the foundation’s belief that meaningful impact begins with listening, understanding, and direct engagement on the ground.

In keeping with NewEgypt’s humanitarian mission, the delegation also shared moments of joy with young patients by distributing gifts, bringing smiles and emotional relief to children undergoing treatment—an essential part of holistic care.

The delegation further reviewed the activities of the Future Scientists Club, an initiative established by NewEgypt inside the hospital. Special attention was given to the Art Therapy Workshop, a program designed to support children’s psychological well-being, creativity, and emotional expression alongside their medical treatment.

The visiting delegation included:

• Dr. Mona Tantawi, President of the International Egyptian Women’s Club in New York, one of NewEgypt’s key arms for international community development, and Founder of Hackensack Pediatrics, New York.

• Dr. Ghada Ali, Regional Director of NewEgypt International for Egypt and the Middle East.

• Mr. Mohamed El-Dewy, Board Member of NewEgypt Egypt.

• A delegation of physicians from New York, alongside NewEgypt Egypt youth volunteers.

NewEgypt International emphasized that this visit marks the beginning of a new chapter, with upcoming initiatives and a promising new project to be announced soon inside the hospital. The foundation reaffirmed its dedication to standing by Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 and continuing its mission to bring hope, healing, and opportunity to children across Egypt.
